Gentingthereslowly Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 For those knocking Ireland I think our midfield being dominated so far this half might in itself prove a point. haha you wont get much change here pal, Ireland was forcing there defence to sit deeper and harassing them in position, this also ment holman could do the same in a deeper position for us, we are missing this now. heffoman Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 He's got Forward well. Ireland has been replaced by Westwood. Good. Why is that good? Arguably our best player in the first half? Gave the ball away, a lot. Ran around following the ball, but didn't actually put his foot in much. So all that really achieved, was leaving space in midfield where he should have been. And yes, he does frustrate the hell out of me. But that's just what I saw. Obviously we are watching different games. Easily the hardest working of Bannan and Kea. Won a huge amount of tackles and harrashed and broke up play. Pass completion is better than Bannans I would argue and was hugely involved in the building up to the goal and then the actual assist.
