Demitri_C
we are away to arsenal #(or leeds very unlikely) another away game and yes against a top four club. i think we must have drawn more top foure clubs than any other prem club in 3rd and 4th round. someone must hate us at tHE FA liverpool vs united. tasty game
parisvilla
Initially I was resigned to the season being over but having thought about it reckon it might be a good draw. Surely RVP won't play in the game what with their CL commitments and we have a very good record at the Emirates.
savosleftboot
Either a shock win or we bow out with our heads held high to a sky4 team and avoid a giantkilling (provided Leeds go out). Can't really lose.
Zatman
If its anything like Arsenal team they put out in Greece in Champions League we have a chance. wouldnt be so negative only 10 days ago we won at Stamford bridge
Mantis
Either a shock win or we bow out with our heads held high to a sky4 team and avoid a giantkilling (provided Leeds go out). Can't really lose.Or a typical dismal defeat against a big team. I'm not normally negative, but I just can't see anything else under McLeish (yes I'm aware of the Chelsea result). coda
Bit strange locking the 3rd round thread when it hasn't finished yet. Leeds won at Old Trafford last season so they may give Arsenal a game.
VT Supporter chappy Posted January 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted January 8, 2012 Leeds away would be a nice cheap away day for me. Can't see them beating Arsenal though.
VamosMiAstonVilla
We can beat them if we give it a go and they play a weak team. We should have won the league match at VP ! They've been stuttering recently and their annual implosion cannot be far away. Hoping this will be on TV - pretty sure it will be.
VT Supporter Rodders Posted January 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted January 8, 2012 Tough but not impossible presuming its arsenal.
briny_ear
First off, I'm hoping it will be Leeds. We've got around 24 hours to cling to that dream...
Goldiejjj
Either way we will get a pretty big allocation, so good day no matter who we get.
Visiting Supporter Rino8 Posted January 8, 2012 Visiting Supporter Share Posted January 8, 2012 Leeds have a few injuries for the Arsenal game, can't see them putting up too much of a fight. They can do it though, and people seem to forget that they very nearly beat Arsenal at the Emirates last year if not for a 90th minute penalty. I'd take some prem clubs over Leeds when it comes to the FA cup.
the_eristic
If we get Arsenal and they play a lot of reserves/kids, we should field ours, too. The memory of that 10-1 last season might put the fear into them.
AValon
Nothing to be unduly concerned about. Arsenal don't have it so easy against us for some reason and the onus will definitely be on them. Out of the top clubs I'd rather face them than anyone else. Leeds is another potential banana skin.

euro_kings_82
Shay given Richard dunne and Robbins keane (if he signs) might be a bit more interested in this fixture now!
