I'm from Nottinghamshire, and my Granddad was a huge fan so they were the first team I ever really had a connection with when I was very, very young. I had a really nice little Forest jacket, which is one of the earliest treasured possessions I remember. When I actually started following football though, around age 7, other family members got me supporting the Villa. Still, I retain a soft spot for Forest. useless Posted June 1, 2021 Share Posted June 1, 2021 Will probably prove to be serendipitous, as don't be surprised to see them challenging for promotion next season, Hughton will have had a pre season and they've got some good players coming through like Mighten and Johnson and talk of them selling Worrall (he happens to be currently on holidy with Cash) for big money, so a chance to reinvest some of that , obviously no one least of all their own fans is expecting it, but there's usually a team in the championship that does well when no one is expecting them to do so. And although I wouldn't agree that Forest would be the 2nd most pointless club in the UK (surely Colwyn Bay and Bedworth United are up there on the list... no?), I can't really get all that excited about them. And both have spent time in League One with the Owls getting relegated again. If Wes and Nassef hadn't have bought us we could have well been in the same situation. Derby and Forest must be seriously in envy over Leceister's recent success.
