You know how when watching Blade Runner, you think 'yeah, this is probably what the future will actually look like' ?

This is what the future will sound like.

I see what you mean, very science fiction. I kind of like it, but I think it actually sounds like what we think the future will sound like, rather than what it probably will sound like (if you see what I mean).

Bit of old school AFI blasting out at the moment. The Art of Drowning to be precise. Days of the Phoenix ftw!

Last time I had that feeling it was the last 42 seconds of

It was like "This is it, the future for Metal! Insane heaviness with deeply atmospheric FX".

Replicas is an excellent album :)

Nobody here will of course have heard of it, but I'm loving the new Brillig album - dark folk/country tales...

In 1979, many of us thought the future would sound like this album. I remember being at a football club and a rocker/hippy type drunkenly lectured me on the fact!!

I've stated many, many times on here over the years but Replicas is in my top five albums of all time.

Absolute classic.

Trouble with SSS was they weren't hyped up enough!  ;)

Magenta Devine, take a bow.

Have a soft spot for 'Flaunt It'.

It's absolutely wonderfully constructed, just from really shoddy materials.

Gosh, Melt Banana! Haven't listened to them in years. They were something of a gateway band for me, in to the world of the weird and whacky :)
