leviramsey Posted February 4, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted February 4, 2011 Got 2 dogs and would never want a cat. Just seem like pointless pets, they eat and drink then **** off and you dont see them for the rest of the day. That's a feature, not a bug. leviramsey Posted February 4, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted February 4, 2011 My cat sits on my knee the entire time I'm on the computer, **** is like he's glued there I'm sure he's glad that empornium has been shut down. (or maybe not if he's the sort of cat that would like amusement park rides if he were human)

Sureshot
Cats are great, had one for about 14 years that we picked up from a shelter and he was such a character - definitely the lord of the manor. The nay-sayers are partially right though - some cats can be boring or incredibly uppity. But then, so can some dogs. I'd quite like to get another one out here but I'd have to clear it with the landlord & housemate first. Plus I'd be concerned about having enough time to look after it properly since work can get pretty hectic.
Jon
I can't vote. Wouldn't have one myself. Yet don't hate them. I'm a dog man, all the way.

Shillzz
On the subject of cats, has anyone ever lost one to a fox? I'm moving house next month, and it backs onto a wooded area so I'm a little concerned. Safe to say that I've had my rifle serviced, but I'm not convinced that'll be enough to keep them away. mjmooney Posted February 28, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted February 28, 2011 Foxes generally give cats a wide berth. Cats fight dirty.
