No need to be messing around with the team because of a busy schedule yet. Why start Petrov on Saturday but then NRC today? Today is FAR more important than Man city game. smetrov Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 Big calls from GH - Thought Petrov would partner Mckoun - its a big ask for a player in his first PL match to players a role where it all goes through him. Bakers selection seems a bit Bizarre - Clark has done not to badly IMO - and after we struggled to keep a clean sheet for so long - I wouldn't have changed it after we finally do ! Think a win tonight would have put relegation fears to bed (not mathematically - but turning the corner stuff) - Bit foolish of GH to take a few unnecessary gambles .......we shall see Good luck lads ! Why isnt Luke Young playing is he injured? He's a decent LB imo Crucial game this is and a big gamble by Houllier playing an inexerienced player like Baker at LB up against Rodellega probably who could be played wide up against him considering he's picked Di Santo.
