lmarsha_926
Under French law he could of been asked to work for 3 more months.
AVFC-Prideofbrum
Won't be at the Stoke game....might not even be at the Bolton game.... how can tieing up loose ends take that long - what on earth does he have to do? He's contracted for 3 months...

TOTTI-THE-GOD
I think the main thing with him being in the stands will be so he can assess the players better

Davies4England
Won't be at the Stoke game....might not even be at the Bolton game.... how can tieing up loose ends take that long - what on earth does he have to do? On Monday he HAS to attend a meeting with the 20 Ligue 1 club managers etc... as part of his contract. This meaning he won't be able to get to Stoke in time even in a private jet. He then has a few other things to do for them to successfully end his contract and he will be at Bolton, but most probably in the stands. Basically the French FA want him to do a few things before they let him become our manager officially.

Mark8691
Not in until after Bolton is ridiculous. Especially when they've put out ticket offers to welcome him for the Bolton game. Have to agree. This is getting very ridiculous. Hope he's worth the wait!

There would be no point him being present for training over the weekend, then flying back to France, then rushing back just so that we could say that 'our manager was at the game'. If he's not available then it makes sense to let him be there when he can, and for KMac (or whoevers left in charge) to asses the team in preparation for the game. As expected, there was a reason for him not being there. All the people jumping to conclusions have simply done that.

Bolton is my first game in over a year so would have been nice to see him there, but for a tenner I can't complain!
ChrisNichollsToe
Seemed very coy when it came to cash, looking very unsure before answering. Point is, to improve we need to spend, otherwise we sit still and stagnate. Not sure if those in control actually understand that. But i guess, we will hear more as the conference unfolds, especially from Faulkner.
