He's not really playing as a striker so it's not really a question of service. He's playing in a position where he needs to command the ball and do attacking things with it when he has it, he's doing neither. He seems to think it's ok to hide out there. It is no coincedence that he is amongst those having the fewest touches in pretty much every game now. He isn't making himself available at all which is why the games keep passing him by.
