It went down hill after that and we're lucky its 1-1. The defending has been some of the worst you'll see. Davies shite. Hogg shite. Pretty good first 15-20 minutes then over run by an more experienced and settled side from next 25 mins. Gave away a sloppy goal and defence has been all over the place on crosses. All things considered some of the young lads have done okay but the senior players like Beye, Downing, Davies and Heskey have been quite poor. Davies4England Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 Poor performance, however last season we came here and got beat. Now we're drawing with an away goal, in a very hostile atmosphere. It'll be an excellent result if we can hang on, our away games under MON were very similar to this, so it's nothing really new. At home you play possession football, away you invite the pressure and counter attack. Let's remember Rapid are no mugs and the referee really hasn't helped.
