It is important that the process is rigorous to ensure complete safety for everyone all the time. Even then you can't catch all the nutters; I remember being in earshot when someone decided to go for a jolly in a GR.7, apparently taking it about 30 meters off the ground before deciding to eject and let it nose-dive back into the runway. When you join up, you have to sign with them for something rediculous like 16 years of service, yet they can make you redundant without a second thought. That is rediculous. The looks are pure opinion; like I say, I think she's rather pretty, and not a **** stick insect like so many pop stars. If you don't like the musical style, fair enough, but that is a great "white soul" voice, a la Dusty Springfield or Alison Moyet (her natural predecessor). But the speaking voice (and general personality) really did make me want to run screaming from the room. I believe she's becoming popular in the USA.
