AshVilla Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 So who do you think will be the next managerial casualty next season? My money is on mark hughes he will buckle under the pressure
AshVilla Posted May 24, 2009 Author Posted May 24, 2009 I think phil hart has done a good job with pompey,
bickster Posted May 24, 2009 Moderator Posted May 24, 2009 I presume that's Paul Hart? If so, atm he's not actually Pompey manager as he was only caretaker until the end of the season
Condimentalist Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Paul Hart. Though I can see Hughes going fairly early on as well.
kurtsimonw Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Alan Shearer. Oh wait. It's never going to get old.. I will go with.. Mark Hughes. Some of their stars don't show up away, being 12th or so after about 10 games won't be good enough for their owner.
The_Rev Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Just checked how many clubs changed manager this season. Surprised to see it was as many as seven. For the record: West Ham (September) Newcastle (September) Tottenham (September) Portsmouth (October) Sunderland (December) Blackburn (December) Chelsea (February) Poor old Pompey had a manager resign and they sacked one. Im not counting anybody who didnt leave mid season. I think Hughes will go next year. In fact, I wouldnt be surprised if he didnt even make it through the summer.
stretford420 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I don't think Hughes will still be managing there on the opening day of the 2009-10 season either.
Mozzavfc Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Doubt Hughes (if he is there begining of the season) will be able to live up to hype
Hanky Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Martin O'Neill (come on I was waiting for someone to do it )
Zatman Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 A bad start for Arsenal and pressure will be on Wenger bigtime. Wouldnt be surprised if Megson is chopped
JoeFoSho Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Phil Brown will be gone after 3 points from 10 games at the start of next season.
Hanky Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Phil Brown will be gone after 3 points from 10 games at the start of next season. Generous with the points there.
JoeFoSho Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Phil Brown will be gone after 3 points from 10 games at the start of next season. Generous with the points there. I'm assuming they'll play SHA in their first 10 games
