Saw The Breakfast Club for the first time last night. Not sure what to make of it. It was awful yet strangely awesome at the same time. All I know is that I want to put my penis in 1980's Molly Ringwald.

Watched The Dictator last night. I kind of knew what I was in for, but even for Sacha Baron Cohen it wasn't great. There were a few laugh out loud moments but they were much too few and far between.

Playing his wii game 'The Munich Olympics' which starts by knocking on the Israeli hotel room door and shooting whoever answers. That was classic SBC and an 'omglol'.

The part where he convinces America that if it was a dictatorship it would be able to [and he then proceeds to list out loads of things that America is already doing to its people]. I wouldn't say it was subtle but it got the point across.

Luckily, or perhaps intentionally, mercifully the film is only barely more than an hour long.

Yep it is terrible but you have to keep watching..And yep you can see why she was the darling of 80's films

I watched Dazed & Confused in the past year.  If I grew up in America I imagine it would be an epic movie tbh.  As it was, it was still very good*.  My Canadian mate still has "The Judge" as his dream car because of this movie :)

* and is Matthew McConaughey's best role to date (and one of his earliest) that I've seen anyway.

I prefer Dazed & Confused and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but The Breakfast Club is still a pretty iconic 80's movie.

How does a film made in 1993 make it into your list of 80's movies? ;)

Would have to agree though D&C is one of my favourite films. Wish Linklater would make another decent film some time soon.
