I'd be really interested to see where Marc Guehi ends up. I doubt he'd come here, and doubt even more that we could afford him..

..but also there's a chance that maybe Liverpool won't spend big on a CB, whilst Arsenal and City don't need to.

After those 3, why not? We leak goals, Pau misses games, Hermoso/Konsa will play fullback quite a bit. We have no idea what version of Mings comes back. We could go and spend there.

Edit: he's quite likely to leave Palace this summer. They're desperate to keep Wharton, Olise and Eze (they won't) he may become their sacrificed sale

Marc Guehi would cost a fortune. So definitely not coming to villa. Plenty of cheaper defenders out there with similar qualities

Absolutely.  If they could keep them then they could be well up in the European spots but I suppose the vultures will be circling.  I'm not sure we will be in contention for them though.

Our biggest challenge now, is going to be moving players out. We would probably be happy to move Olsen, Digne, Chambers, Hause, Cash, Carlos, Coutinho, Donk, Tim, Archer and a few youngsters out. The more we can shift, the better for our squad building next season. I suspect we will struggle to shift half of that lot.

You’re absolutely right. The rules still apply: don’t sign mediocre players. But If you do, don’t pay them high wages. And If you do, at least don’t hand out long contracts.

Depends really. I mean we could sign another Tielemans type who can play deeper if needed but I'd still prefer a specialist for that position given what a loss Kamara has been for our defensive structure.
