I am starting to get a little worried about the internet “pundits” backing us for top 5 and potentially a champions league spot! 

I think our aim this season is top 6. When you consider to do that you will have to squeeze out a few of City, Arsenal, United, Newcastle, Liverpool, Brighton, Chelsea and Spurs it’s not going to be easy!

I know it's crazy talk. I know. But after the Lazio performance, I'm sitting here trying to work out how we're not NOT going to be title contenders. I know. Crazy talk. Absolutely mental. It's just a feeling. But still. Wow.

My optimism has moved up a level from last month.  Was expecting 7th / 8th and now I am definitely in 6th / 7th with a shot of 5th (maybe even 4th).  One signing (starter) and one signing (back-up) in specific positions and I think I will move up to the next level of optimism - which slightly scares the **** out of me.

I dont think we arr quite there for tpp 4 yet but i think in 2 years we can be.

Still think we are short at rb and up top. Also might need a upgrade on bailey

If win the Conference League this season, the Don, Monchi and NSWE will build on this and push forward. It won't be a one off then dwindle off. The resources are there to build to NOT prioritise one competition over another, and for possibly the first time in his career, the entire set up from top to bottom is centred around him.

Look at West Ham. Won a European trophy and they're in an absolute mess.

This simply won't happen for us under this set up.

A European push and league improvement is going to be the norm for us from now on.
