Dendoncker will return having not played much at all and we will have to struggle again to find a buyer or taker for him when he returns… 🤦‍♂️

Such a weird and silly signing in the first place. Relatively big fee for such a limited player and a big wage… 🤦‍♂️

Seems like we’ll struggle to shift Phil aswell…

At least Sanson’s 4m fee/move has been triggered… as long as Nice decide to act on it…

Sousa not getting many minutes at Plymouth?

I reckon be would be playing at the moment if still here.  If Kamara is still out for the start of next season he could be an asset if Unai does not fancy Tim.

Sink or swim time.

Feeney is still only eighteen, so I wouldn't read too much into him not getting much game time at that age, I wouldn't read too much into it if he went to League Two in this country and didn't get much game time, it's always difficult for young central defenders as clubs less likely to trust them because one mistake in that position can be much more costly than other positions, Revan couldn't get in a non-league team at the same age and is now playing Championship level

Tommi O'Reilly I think has only just returned from an injury, the best he can probably hope for is to do well enough at Union to earn a better loan move next season, after which he would be twenty-two, so for him to have a career at a relativly high level needs to go on a similar trajectory as Azaz

I think we needed to buy a DM in the summer regardless of Kamara's injury, that player will now come in as first choice initially, and Dendoncker will leave, we shouldn't struggle to find a buyer, as he has a big pedigree in the game

And then everyone would be saying "I'd rather play Tim than Donk". It is what it is - Tim might have a future here, Donk definitely doesn't.

Might it cost us some points? Yeah, maybe. Will that matter? Possibly. Would it even be quantifiable though? Nope.

I dont think it would cost us any points. Donk is less capable on the ball than Tim, so while he may block more attacks, he'll concede possession more. Probably break even for me, but not quantifiable as you said.

Certainly not worth recalling Donk (if we even could) to find out given how much we should be saving from his wage.
