Al-Qadsia (Saudi) sacked his best mate Robbie Fowler last night despite winning there first 6/8 games and being 2nd in the table

Didn't even know he was a coach, let alone he was out there. Surprised he's been sacked if doing that well.

Anyone know what Saudi contract law is like? Does he get a massive payout or is he stuffed?

Saudi has been done multiple times for summarily sacking players because they feel like it and reneging on any contractual rights.

They replaced him with a bigger name in Michel

So Gerrard or someone like Henderson who's gone there for the money, could theoretically be sacked and not get any of the contract?

While they've done it to domestic players etc and shafted them out of a ten grand payout they won't do it to a foreign star as would be a bad advert to entice people to their crap league

Pretty sure have done to foreign managers

Would be great if they sacked him and gave him nothing. Woukd be justice for robbing us

Great to see his side managed a brave draw against the bottom club at the weekend.

Previously Al-Raed had played 11 and lost 8 so it's surprising a moment of magic from, well, pretty much anyone really couldn't get them over the line.

Since this was bumped, took a look at Ettifaq's recent results.

1W 2D 2L

4 goals in 5 games with 3 of the goals in one game.

Two nil-nil draws.

Absolutely dire to watch for the 79 fans in the stadium.
