WERDER SPORTS DIRECTOR BAUMANN GIVES AN UPDATE ON RASHICA TRANSFER.

29th August 2020.

Does he go or does he stay after all? Milot Rashica's transfer poker is at a standstill.

Does RB Leipzig even want the SV Werder Bremen star striker? Sports director Frank Baumann has given an update on the negotiations.

RB Leipzig is "not completely out" in advertising for Milot Rashica , Frank Baumann explained in an interview on the club's website. "It is well known that Milot Leipzig could very well imagine", confirmed the sports director of SV Werder Bremen . Moving to the Champions League could be the next logical step in Rashica's career.

But it still doesn't look like the clubs will find each other when it comes to the transfer fee. "It is currently the case that both clubs have set a limit for themselves and these limits just don't overlap at the moment," said Baumann. According to reports, Werder wants 25 million euros, Leipzig has only offered 15 million (plus bonus payments) so far. "If nobody moves in the border areas, the transfer will not take place."

Then you have to see what the player wants, Baumann: "If he can imagine another club, then the round of negotiations between the clubs will start again." It is basically conceivable that Milot Rashica will still play for Werder Bremen next season , "but that is not the most likely Variant". Baumann recalled that the club had “a certain amount of pressure to generate transfer proceeds”

Not in that latest article, no. Just more contradictions.

There's much more on there that does mention Villa and other clubs though...

You just have to... CarryOnReading!

reading it, offers little in insight, just the standard press insistence that Leipzig are coming back in... Much in the same way Sky still insist on Man U are still in for signing Sancho...

For Germans, Leipzig (and their reputation) are more known and raise more questions and clicks for articles, Than a team like Villa does

Correct.

So it's as we were and awaiting developments from the player.

I suppose us as a club too as we've announced bugger all yet anywhere for anyone...

My apologies chap.

I was out of order when reading it back.

A very frustrated response while we await the club to actually sign someone.

Hopefully not much longer !

Because posters, like your goodself, are driving it to 200 pages in posting pointless shite like that.

Are you trying to tell me that constantly moaning about how pathetic the thread is, the number of pages in it, and the player "Never coming" increases the page count?

Rashica starts in game 2 against St.Pauli

Atleast the 'dizzyness' looks to have cleared up.

Players starting in friendly matches doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not being sold. They’d want to keep him match fit in case he stays or at least to keep up the illusion that he’s staying.

I know there’s an injury risk, but but these lads are not made of glass and injuries in friendlies are much more unlikely.
