Thank christ. The commentary was especially bad, even for tennis.

It was amongst some of the worst commentary I've ever heard, delighted that Tan won.

He’s got metal hip joints , missed a couple of years with set backs and yet  by and large holding his own against a player in the top 20 .

He doesn’t have another slam win in him but equally he isn’t losing 6-0 , 6-0 , 6-0 so if he’s still enjoying  the game then I see no reason for him not to stay on the circuit

Radacanu, I know she's young, but she shouldn't be going out this early yet again. I'm not sure what the answer is, but she don't seem to be enjoying her game like the others.

Strange one with Raducanu, she came under the radar to win the US open unlike say Murray who was competing for years getting tinals before winning his first. She will no doubt drop outside the top 100 after the US open unless she can start putting wins together, which is hard when there are so many women with equal ability. A bit like Ostepenko who won the french open as a qualifier at 19/20 who is now 25 and yet to win another although she did get to a semi and has the advantage of a huge forehand and backhand.

Yeah, I don't see her lucky like Southgate with the Euro draw, she did well to win the open, I personally believe her quality got her the win.

Its all gone wrong since she sacked the coach who helped her to the win, but the media seem scared to put the blame on this reason. Certainly she's had lots of injuries since, but this can also be down to incorrect coaching methods.

She definitely should be. Her US open win was a fluke, look at who she played in the final. This is her level. She might improve over time but she's an outsider not a contender.

The screaming and grunting is just too annoying.

That's been a problem in tennis, mens and womens, since the seles era. Obviously the powers that be are part of the 'everything tennis related is brilliant' cult so they never did anything about it. Its unwatchable when it's bad. Meldonium Sharapova was a main culprit.

Yes she played at a fantastic level during that tournament, the only thing is we dont know what her real level is just yet. I agree she should never have got rid of her coach that got her there.

Is there anyone out there with a bigger chip on their shoulder than Nick Kyrgios?

The guy is an absolute spoiled little brat, one of those human beings you genuinely resent having a specialist skill.

Yes hes such a talented player i feel he has wasted his careeer. Instead of knockin the greats like nadal and djokovic he should have beeb trying to learn from them. Terrible attitude.

Some proper battling from Brits today. Dart put up a great fight against the 8th seed Jessica Pegula, and Liam Broady, ranking 140 odd has taken the 12th seed Schwarzmann to a 5th set.  Really good to see.
