I'm not sure how familiar you are with Masta Ace in general but if you're not I'd strongly recommend listening to 'A Long Hot Summer', 'Disposable Arts' and 'Sittin on Chrome'. All amazing albums. Definitely one of the best to ever do it.

I'm not very familiar at all. "Da Grind" is the only other track I recognise from a google (Might have heard some others but they don't jump out at me)

Will definitely give his other albums a listen

You're in for a treat 👍. You won't find many better hiphop songs than 'Beautiful' (amazing Minnie Ripperton sample) off the Long Hot Summer album.

As always nowadays I'm pretty bad a picking up new music. but In no particular order

Tribulation - Down Below.

Les Big Byrd - Iran, Iraq, Ikea

Viagra Boys - Street Worms

Vanhelgd - Deimos Sanktuarium

Mantar - The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze.

And then a very late addition that drops today but that I got to listen to a while back thanks to a friend in the industry:

Sulphur Aeon - The Scythe of Cosmic Chaos.

If you’re a fan of MF DOOM check out Son of Yvonne as well, all the beats are taken from his Special Herbs tapes.

Nope, not one. (Except LeGuin, as a novelist).

You let your subsciption to 'The Wire' lapse then? :)

It has haunting similarities to a *useless list, but it's missing Carly Rae Jepsen.

@tonitottakai - That's not a dig, useless used to post on here ;)
