As the draft got closer it seemed that the hype around the QB's was switching a lot. Maybe if Mayfield had made it to two they'd have gone QB. Before the draft, all analysts always pointed looong fingers at Michel and his fumbles, which are a big issue. Pats draft him and the entire media starts the ultimate wankfest and everything is forgotten. words removed! Belichick does not forgive fumblers, he better clean that up. RunRickyRun Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Drafting QBs is definitely a crap shoot. Ryan Leaf probably had the 3rd best QB grade in the last 20 years and he was an abject bust. I think Darnold was the safest pick and Allen has the greatest upside. Mayfield and Rosen appear to be the most ready to start right now. I think Rosen will be the pick of the bunch but it's only guesswork. I would have chosen Chubb instead of Ward though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
