You are aware that will be less than 4 months right Also what happens if anyone one of their strikers pick up another injury?

Well, it's three and a half months, which is only a touch less than four. So he might well be back by then, if his recovery goes well. I think the point here is, yes it's a blow and you obviously wouldn't choose it, but he hasn't started a game so they'll probably find a way to cope. Cjay Posted September 11, 2018 Visiting Supporter Share Posted September 11, 2018 Losing Bamford is a huge blow. Our squad isnt blessed with depth. But we have the form u23 side in our group for the entire year. Since January we are top. Lot of talent in the youth teams, the club wanted to create continuity through the age groups style wise. Carlos Corberan the u23 boss has been working with Bielsa and the U23s this season. So tge u23s know the style, they know one of the coaches, he knows them. I'm quite excited, reminds me of my childhood under O'Leary, get the youngsters in.

VillaChris
Hernandez, that is a big blow. He's been superb in the number 10 role for Leeds so far. Just need Klich and Roofe to pick up knocks and they might actually draw a game.

VillaChris
Might be a good chance for Tyler Roberts to stake a claim now. Saw him quite a bit for Walsall last season, easily too good for league 1. I believe he has also had loads of injuries since he signed for Leeds in January. How would you describe him style wise? Main attributes etc? He has had injury problems, started both cup games and was very poor. If he was an academy kid he looked the sort you'd say "yeah definitely not ready".
VillaChris
Similar to Bamford. Not the type to lump high balls up to (not that Leeds do that anymore) but has decent touch and pretty mobile and good finisher. With all the creative midfielders Leeds have I think he'll do well if he has a run of starts.
BOF Posted September 18, 2018 Moderator Share Posted September 18, 2018 Bolton's Stephen Darby (29) has retired from football after being diagnosed with motor neurone
VillaChris
Very sad for Stephen Darby, remember him years back coming through at Liverpool and had a solid lower league career since. MND is horrible and sadly life limiting. Didn't realise he was married to Steph Houghton (England women captain).
