Transfer Speculation Summer 2016

If it's only to be two, I think a striker and a playmaker are most essential. But hopefully we can a few more like a right-back and another midfielder, preferably one capable of scoring a few goals.

We need more than 2 more signings.

Got enough defenders surely....4 are regularly making the bench! Even if you don't rate them Cissokho and Bacuna are playing in defence barely conceding goals...if we need more attacking just play Amavi...

Certainly need another striker and another midfielder....Jedinak, new AM midfield, Westwood, Tshibola, Gardner...should be enough until January.

I wonder if by signings he means permanent signings and not loans or including loans. I just think there is a lack of depth in several key positions for only two more signings and we could loan a striker like Bamford and a right back like Yedlin or Trippier.  IIRC Xia has said multiple times that we will use the loan market as well.

Personally I think we need a RB, attacking midfielder and a forward.

As I've said before RB can wait until January I think...it would be near bottom of my list.

Doubt anyone would disagree about the other two.

I think Bacuna/Hutton at RB is now our weakest position in the team/squad.

All our midfielders play in a very similar position we need something else, someone with a bit more attacking threat. And I don't see Morrison as a central midfielder, if he signs he'll be playing either out wide, behind the striker/s or somewhere in between.

Depends if we can shift Hutton or not...getting in another RB would mean three in squad which is overload.

Or means Bacuna will be pushed back into midfield which I certainly don't want.

I think its pretty unlikely Hutton or Bacuna will go this window and personally I wouldn't want that to stop us bringing in a better option if one is available. Bacuna isn't a RB and while you are right he has done okay there so far he is only playing there because Hutton isn't good enough.

If we sign a RB then Bacuna needs to fight for a place in the side in midfield, be content as second choice RB or try and find a move.
