Wouldn't be shocked if Swansea finish 6th tbh, they're a better all round team than Spurs as it stands imo.

That's the gulf between us and Swans currently...we pat ourselves on the back for narrowly losing 1-0 at home to United creating feck all, Swansea go out to beat them.

So, are the rest of the league nearer to the big four or are we just seeing early season hiccups?

The way the league has started, it looks like there's a big one*, followed by narrow margins from 2nd through to 8th.

Similarly 9th to 18th also have very little in it.

*probably an over exaggeration, but City look like the only ones to properly have their shit together.

Still drew with Sunderland last weekend though.

Anyone can take points off anyone this season (except Citeh).

It's still August, everything will go back to normal by October or so with a couple of overachievers who will eventually fade.

Always the same.

City will do what Chelsea did last season, looks like Arsenal will be closet challengers but you wouldn't trust them to really push City.

5th-8th could be quite open this year, Palace can challenge for those places aswell.

So can we with a decent striker

I don't think Swansea are 'overachieving' here. They are well established now, play good football, have a very in-form striker, a cracking midfield and seem to have bought a good 'un in Ayew.

Hopefully, this is now Man United's new 'normal' though.
