rodders0223
There is no point taking these competitions 'seriously', getting our players tournament experience when we entrust the development of our future players to clearings in the woods like Southgate, Pearce, Taylor, Boothroyd, Platt and all the other yes men clearings in the woods. Shocking line-up, shocking game plan, shocking substitutions. Turgid garbage, but hey, Southgate isn't going to rock the boat so happy days. dudevillaisnice
Tom Carroll had no place being in the starting lineup. I was surprised he was kept on if i'm honest.

Southgate has been fantastic, that was their first loss in something like 14 matches and they play fantastic stuff. Comparing Southgate to Pearce is ridiculous.
tommybread
Typical England. All that fire power and play with one striker for the majority of the game... How is that typical England? Typical England would be trying to fit all of your strikers/big names into a line-up they don't fit in.

Plus big names doesn't necessarily mean strikers... For the senior team it was Lampard Gerard etc...
penguin
Didn't think they played negative football at all, was quite an end to end game at points.

Zatman
decent game so far but England are struggling as they are not used to playing that way. Can see what trying to do but players maybe arent used to the style the lad Pritchard looks a good player
PaulC
Yes haven't watched it all. Hughes and Kane had decent chances. Must win game so might need to bring on Ings to give some support to Kane.
tommybread
Still don't know why Moore and Gibson are playing. Not sure why Dier isn't in the squad either, unless he is injured it is baffling to leave him out. I would have left Lingard in too, he is regularly one of the best players in the side along with Redmond. I like Carroll but I think he is better deeper than in a number 10 role so I would have taken him out with Lingard or Pritchard playing central. May need to throw Ings in there for the second half. PieFacE Posted June 21, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted June 21, 2015 I really do think Kane is going to struggle for goals next season. He's obviously a good player but I'm just not completely convinced by him.
