dudevillaisnice
Probably in our interest if City sign Roberts from Fulham, can purchase him for a nominal fee in a few seasons time

MrSmirch
I was good mates with pat roberts until he moved to a different seconday school, really weird seeing him linked to city.
PieFacE Posted June 18, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted June 18, 2015 Good move for all in regards to weimann I think. Fair play to the club for getting 2.5m for him.

Popular Post bobzy
Personally think it's a better price for Derby if correct. They've bought a 23 year old with over 100 games Premier League experience for £2.5m/£2.75m? Not bad at all.

It's a good deal for absolutely everyone involved.
Nabby
Thinks is good for both parties that price. As said above covers the Sinclair singing , a player who will give us more from a wide position.
useless
He's capable of being a good player, but hopefully we're moving on to bigger and better things.
bobzy
One year left on his contract too though bobzy. Fair. I like Weimann. He isn't good enough for us, so needed to be sold, but hope he does well at Derby.
gharperr
Townsend is awful. Couple of goals for England against San Marino and the media big him up. he quite obviously isnt. you just calling him awful because he isnt good enough for Spurs or? hes pretty obviously prem quality and teams pushing for mid table seems about where he should be. so i wont mind signing him. seeing him in the side would make me much happier than seeing nzogbia edit: agree hes a frustrating player Edited June 18, 2015 by gharperr
BOF Posted June 18, 2015 Moderator Share Posted June 18, 2015 My problem with Andros Townsend is that he seems to be a one trick pony and it's not a particularly fantastic trick. He has already been figured out by most Premier League sides and will be figured out internationally soon enough if he doesn't add more tricks. I don't like to compare him to a player I used to like at Villa but he is more Marc Albrighton and less Raheem Sterling in his style of play. Even a Spurs mate of mine was scratching his head when Spurs let Lennon rather than Townsend go to Everton on loan. The seasons that they both ended up having afterwards seems to have confirmed his suspicions.

useless
I doubt we'll be signing Townsend unless a takeover happens and Sherwood keeps his job. So a lot to happen first and even then it could just be a guess from the press.
Dirtysanchez
Weimann to Derby, I'm shocked. Having read a lot of your posts on here I struggle to see what you add, I'll keep reading though and hope they improve, doubt it though! It's as if you're in the know when in fact you just post what is already being reported in the media.
