sonic_bouma
Everton were outstanding What a proper proper club they are, with a chairman that despite having little money truly understands football And now they have a manager who can take them forward similar to Rodgers at Liverpool How I wish Roberto had said yes to us
Voinjama
This season is really showing Moyes in a bad light. Everton are doing better now then they ever did under Moyes. Imagine if Everton finish higher then Manchester United.
The_Steve
Moyes left Everton in fantastic shape and built a solid squad. Martinez did not need to overhaul the squad but simply add some attacking adventure and astute loans. However, he did waste £6m on Arouna Kone. CarewsEyebrowDesigner
It is impressive how he got (more or less) the same squad of players to play a completely different brand of football within a year. Admittedly the Barry/McCarthy midfield is new and key to the whole system, but it goes to show that all it takes is a few key signings to help reinvent a team. Professional footballers, especially at this level, are capable of adapting to different styles of football. All it takes is the right man in charge.
Voinjama
Moyes did a good job at Everton no doubt, but Martinez is doing much better and will smash the 70 point barrier for the first time. And then you combine that with the fact Everton will finish ahead of Manchester United. I bet at the start of the season Moyes would of thought the mighty Manchester United would finish ahead of his old boys. I do think that if Everton had tried to put this style of football in place previously that they'd have failed with it. As others have said, the foundations laid were vital

samjp26
Makes me laugh how Carroll is made out to be this god of heading technique, yet he can't even beat Flanagan in the air at the far post.
