coda
I wonder if Arsenal fans want top 4 or a trophy. Probably the latter.
The_Steve
Arsenal's inability to sign a striker costs them. Again, look how much they spent on Ozil.

stewiek2
Everton fans must think they're in heaven. Moyes for all them years building the foundations then Martinez to add the sprinkles. Methinks Manure took a punt on Moyes for the very reason of him building foundations as Taggart just felt it was one rebuilding job too many.
TrentVilla Posted April 6, 2014 Moderator Share Posted April 6, 2014 Arsenal's inability to sign a striker costs them. Again, look how much they spent on Ozil. There are a lot more things wrong with this Arsenal squad than just the absence of a striker arriving in January. They are weak both physically and mentally, they are one dimensional and they naive tactically against the top level opposition. Wenger should go one way or another this summer. The_Steve
Wenger's toast if they finish out of the top 4. Think he'll walk regardless.
stewiek2
The lack of steel in the team is telling for Arsenal. It's a weak spine and until they deal with that they'll never win the big one.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
I think, for Arsenal to be truly competitive again, Arsene needs to go. Plenty of good managers out there, and it is a very attractive job.

AVFCforever1991
They'll win the FA cup and Wenger will leave in the summer. With either Klopp or Van Gaal taking over.

I really like Klopp and would be annoyed if he went somewhere like Manchester Utd...if he does come to the premiership, I wouldn't mind seeing it be Arsenal...and then any players he doesn't want he can loan to his pal Lambert

Van Goal is far too old to go there, Klopp would be very very interesting, he's happy as can be at Dortmund though, isn't he?

The Bundesliga, as a competition, is dead. Any time he improves Dortmund, Bayern will come and buy their best players.

TrentVilla Posted April 6, 2014 Moderator Share Posted April 6, 2014 Klopp would be perfect for Arsenal but I can't help but feel that it would be a too similar situation for him to the task he faces with Dortmund.
The_Steve
Arguably, Everton's two best players are loans (Lukaku/Barry). Be interesting if they sign either next season.
