Welbeck is Rodriguez's competition for world cup squad. I'm concerned that he'll get in ahead of him. Looks like he could be a big game player though. I remember that back-heel goal at the Euros. Welbeck contributed towards England getting to the world cup, Rodriguez didn't. That should count for something. Also Rodriguez as good as he's been this season, hasn't done it at this level for long enough yet. Could be a 1 season wonder fluking it like Marcus Stewart for Ipswich or Ricketts. No, no we wouldn't Adrian, we were all hoping Man Ure would be getting battered 6-0 at half time. I HATE ITV commentary, it's the worst by far.
