If Cardiff are trying to get the match replayed, so should we......

Let's hope not. Knowing our luck Cardiff would win and we would lose again.

If Palace are guilty the results should be void and the match awarded to us/Cardiff. If a club was caught doing that on matchday and the game was called off there is no way it would be replayed.

As unlikely as it is, it'd be hilarious if Palace were found guilty and they had their last 5 results (the amount they've suddenly and inexplicably won) over turned, which would most likely result in relegation :P

Maybe the reason Pulis is doing so well is he knows the opposition line up days beforehand :detect:

Well for two clubs to make the same accusation against one other club is more than a little suspect.

It will be interesting to see what the FA do, if anything.

However, we can not rely on this to keep us up. Not that anyone is just yet.

I hope the book is really thrown at Palace if they are found guilty of happily trying to obtain leak information from mutiple clubs. They don't deserve to be in the league if true, as simple as that.

Is there anything in the rule books that say it isn't allowed though?

Premier League rules B15, B16 and B17 – with B17 potentially the most serious, as it states that no club shall disclose or divulge confidential information.

It's gaining an unfair advantage. We didn't see their teamsheet before the normal time. Otherwise why have the times for submitting teams.

What's more worrying is the detailed player breakdown, which really could only come from within our club.

This is different to Sunderland playing someone in error and then owning up to it.

And do you really gain that much of an advantage? Teams should be prepared for all scenarios anyway.

yeah but it's easier to prepare for one scenario.

They are accused of breaking these 3 rules by Cardiff :-

B.15. In all matters and transactions relating to the League each Club shall behave towards each
other Club and the League with the utmost good faith.

B.16. No Club either by itself, its servants or agents shall by any means whatsoever unfairly criticise,
disparage, belittle or discredit any other Club or the League or in either case any of its
directors, officers, employees or agents.

B.17. A Club shall not without the Board’s prior written consent either during its membership of the
League or at any time after its membership has terminated disclose or divulge either directly
or indirectly to any Person whatsoever or otherwise make use of any confidential information
as to the business or finances of the League or any other Club or any of their dealings,
transactions or affairs or as to any other matters which may come to its knowledge by reason
of its membership save to statutory and regulatory authorities or as may be required by law
or to such Officials and Auditors of that Club to whom such disclosure is strictly necessary for
the purpose of their duties and then only to the extent so necessary.

I don't know what the punishment would be though, but I sure as bet that if Cardiff's complaint is upheld, we'll complain too, and I'd imagine every other club would want to know if it's happened against them as well.

Depending how many teams they've done this to, assuming they have knowingly, they should be punished pretty harshly.

we are in big trouble guys. other sides are showing form and winning games. there's no way Norwich won't pick up points. they are a different side at home. a point won't be enough. Swansea is a must win

If Palace are found guilty of insider bribing they could be in serious point-deducting trouble.

Then again, non of our banking criminals ended up in jail for the same thing.

I don't think bankers knew the Cardiff or Villa teams.
