Inlaws coming for Xmas. Mother in law has been a real bitch to my wife (her daughter) and her elder sister has been pretty much just as bad. They really dont want to come and really dont want them to. As the song goes "There could be trouble ahead............"

The fact you cannot see this means there is zero point in trying to discuss this with you really so like others I shall refrain from posting further.

Walking Dead started very well, I ended up watching it as the missus was in to it and I got hooked. The last series and half it has become a bit samey and the cliffhanger for the midseason break was probably the poorest of the lost so far.

I decided last night to reset my Nexus 5 as the battery usage had got so bad. It was just making it to when I got home before giving me the message it needed an extra charge. As I am writing this it is on 69% which is a massive improvement, mind you I havent put all of the apps back on, just the important ones so will be interesting to see how it goes when I add a few more.

I like most people arent enjoying the football that we are serving up and that is a big problem for the club if it contnues for the rest of this season, but if Lambert can get to 22 - 24 points at the midway point then he will deserve to get the second half of the season to try and improve the quality of the football while at least maintaining the results. The main concern I have is when we hit a patch like we did after the first 4 games and last season after we beat Chelsea he doesnt appear to know how to stop the defeats and if we encounter another run later in the season that might just be enough to send us down. Sometimes just giving the manager more time isnt the answer, yes stability is something the club should strive for and lets be honest stability when the owner wants to sell and has made a complete bloody mess of it by announcing to the world his intentions, allied with a CEO who buggered off 2 days after a big unity speech from the owner and the manager who has to his credit stuck by the club when he may have felt sod it is never going to be easy but something needs to change. Hopefully the owner will be gone because he is without doubt the biggest threat to our future that exists at the club at the moment.

I wonder what might have happened if Lambert used the money and players better. What we could do if he got the best out if players on more ocassions. Can you imagine? One stupid decision by Benteke is a single incident that if different could have had a big impact. You are speculating about hundreds of things, combined. Its not set in stone we would have got anything more out that game had Benteke stayed on the pitch, we might however have done better in the 3 games he missed.

For fans who dont rate Lambert we are told that not many were complaining about him after the first four games but now we are told that after ending an horrendous run without a win that some of us have made our mind up about him and wont change.

I think if this was another club most villa fans would be doing just that and to be honest looking at what is out in the public domain you cannot really blame people. I appreciate you will know more than me about what is going on inside the club which will mean you have a different viewpoint.
