Agree with this 100% We have a good squad, it's so baffling why we can't do better than we are with them. Our lack of goals is very strange as we know there is goals in players like Benteke. As someone who launched an attack on fellow fans for pointing out the failings of our manager and who said we should give him more time can I ask at what point you realised that the posters you had a go at were in all honesty probably right?

Richard you are entitled to your opinion and you set out why you hold it very eloquently, I like you and the other posters who are still behind him, want Lambert to be a success at our club, Sadly I cannot see it turning out that way. He has the best players he has ever had in his time here, however they do not appear to have a clue how to win a game of football. They are static, No movement, no runs off the ball, no leadership. While I agree that the pundits are looking for an easy story you cannot argue with some of the things they say about us. I personally cannot see us scoring 20 goals this season which will probably give Lambert the full set of records that hopefully will never be beaten. Unless he does something to change the way we play we will be relegated - if you dont score you dont win and unless our defence improve dramatically on yesterdays performance we will struggle to get another 10 points. Both you and I are old enough to remember Billy McNeil's days and sadly it all looks to familiar.

I'd be less happy if he left With what most people would claim to be his strongest squad is he not getting better results? Why is he persisting with the possession football when its proved it doesnt get results? Why did he set us up to play a high line when it was obvious we would be punished for it? Why did he not change it when it was obvious it wasnt working? Why has he not found an assistant when its obvious he needs help? But most of all what do you see that we dont that makes you think he is doing a good job and more importantly when he takes us down will you still think he is the best manager we have had in the last 20 years when during that time no other manager has lost us our premiership status?

He looks completely out of sorts, doesnt offer anything and doesnt appear to know what he is doing with the very little service he is getting. Lambert (if he is to stay) needs to sort out a link between our midfield and strikers because at the moment its all possession and no end product.

It is in my opinion a dereliction of duty if Tom Fox lets Lambert continue in his current position. We are going down under Lambert plain and simple.

He has no link between our midfield and strikers and Benteke has become a statue. He tried to compress the game today and you could see it wasn't working but didn't change anything. We will be relegated with the lowest goals scored because he hasn't a decking clue and still some people will insist that he is the best manager we have had in 20 years. I think it would prove non to difficult to find a manager who could make us a more attacking threat.
