Ah...X-Files. Love it. I bought up all the boxsets with my student loan 4/5 years back. Took forever to watch them all, but well worth while, even if the ending still didn't make any sense
And it's Eston Villa
ESTON VILLA FC
By far the greatest TEAM
the fourth tier of the Estonion Football League has ever SEEN
But Gareth are they actually based in Tallinn?
Let's just call ourselves Villa FC yeh, the only other Villa I can think of if Pelsall, and who cares about them rite.
And before anyone says anything, no I don't know if Pelsall Villa play in Pelsall, or if the No. 48 bus goes there, or anything.
Agree, as some chap once said "Even the name is beautifully symmetrical, with five letters in each word"
If we were called Birmingham Villa, that wouldn't be true iirc
Link to Civil Service jobsite
Always ton's of stuff on there, all over the country, with many many different skills required/types of job/salaries available. If you havent ever considered the Civil Service it might be worth a look, you could be surprised. I often look through it with a view to considering transfer/promotion
Taking my little brother and my mother with me to this game. It's the first game my mum's been to this season, although she is a lifer. She is bricking it, convinced it will kick off, and is refusing to take the train as a result. I have said don't be silly, of course it won't, it might be a shit match but I can't imagine that will happen.
However, I have learnt this the hard way in the past - ignore mother's advise at your peril....so we goin in car ^__^
Only time I've stayed at a hotel in Brum was at Ibis. Wasn't bad, close to train station (if that's how you're traveling), decent brekky, and it's close to some decent chinese eateries and a strip club too
:!:
You must sit very near to me then! I'm C7 3 rows back
And that's completely unrelated so er uh, make sure you go and see McGregor's statue in front of the Trinity before the game, and maybe even chance a rub of his foot for good luck...
 My god...Randall Flagg is the vice president! Clearly he is the one behind the scenes pulling the strings...he may have had a haircut, a change of clothes, and a new name...but it's him alright. Those eyes are unmistakable.
I've seen bits of bobs of this and have been told it's really wonderful, so will pick up the bluray when it's out
They're my French team When I was about 9 my mum used to work in a sports/toy shop, the ultimate amalgamation of which was, of course, Subbuteo. So I had quite a lot of teams, and my favourite based both on their name but mostly their kit was Montpellier. It was actually their away kit, but I've kept half an eye on their results ever since Allez Allez Montpellier!
A consortium made up of Prince William, Tom Hanks, Mervyn King, the Villa Weasley, Nigel Kennedy, David Cameron, Redd Pepper, and a Sheikh of some description. Oh and whatever VTers want to chuck some money in too. How about that?
#stopmcleish2012
hahaha, good good
Although if it's anything like the game last night, which it will be, the stewards will only take the signs off you after you unfurl them anyways. 'Get the 'Eck Out' only lasted a few seconds yesterday
Quite right; in fact all you had to do (in the days of the PS1 when it was first released/still around in games shops) was look at the back of the gamecase - it actually has a picture of Cloud holding a pretty obviously dead Aerith right there. **** knows who thought that was a good idea The PAL version that is (both the platinum and non-platinum versions), so no there's really no excuse for not knowing that one.
I liked Heavy Rain myself, but did struggle to get through it on a repeat playthrough when doing some stuff differently.
It took me most of the journey home and this morning as well to come to terms with the fact that we actually lost that game. The dizzying relief at the goal followed by the bewilderment of their 2 goals in such a short space of time afterwards is a very difficult thing to fathom. I went home and went straight to bed to sleep in a daze. It's safe to say I have never felt like that when coming home from a game at VP, and the fact that it might get a lot worse than that is scary to say the least.
The fact that this was quite possibly the biggest home game of the season, and the relatively low amount of replies in this thread in comparison to other post-match threads this season is quite indicative. People either just don't give a **** anymore, or can't come to terms with what happened last night. I can't say I blame anyone who feels that way as I'm there myself.
He was clearly injured. Never recovered from the knock he got early in the second half which left him in a heap on the ground. Gosh he didn't half give it a go last night in the first half though. I said on the way to the match to a few people that we'd need someone to turn up in a big way to make a difference, either Zog or Ireland probably...but it was actually Heskey who did what I hoped someone would do. Not that it helped us in the end, mind.
Looks like the women will play Sweden and the men will play Brazil in a 'double header' at the Riverside. Shame it's not at VP, I would have gone to that.
