  1. I wish Soul Jazz would stop putting out records like this, it's costing me money.
  2. That looks like someone has just made it up, though it is The Daily Mail That list only exists in public because some Daily Mail hack is mates with Dr Tom Markham. He may have years of experience in reading about sports finance and a degree from the University of Reading in some bespoke football degree, but one glance at that list makes me think his algorithms are a crock of horse shit.
  3. That would be our local paper giving one of our longest serving players the wrong nationality... Idiots Have I missed something? Yes, you have. Look at the names listed, then check their nationalities, then view the results.
  4. Lyth just isn't a test player. Shame Bell went for one but it was a pretty heavy delivery, plus not a great call / hard call from the umpire.
  5. Morning chaps. Have I missed much?
  6. That album is absolutely brilliant. Big fan of Malcolm Catto.
  7. Producers doing DJ sets are definitely more likely to be taking shortcuts than people primarily known for their DJ'ing. Anyone who goes to see David Guetta perform expecting a virtuoso masterclass on the wheels of steel deserves what they get IMO. The sharpest contrast of this that I saw was Glastonbury highlights on Saturday... Deadmau5, headlining other stage. Custom MIDI controller, could have put one of his mix cds on. Jon Hopkins, headlining Park stage. Manual feed out of one synth and ableton into four Korg pads and a sequencer, didn't stop the whole time and clearly made mistakes because he was stitching bits together on the fly. Massive difference.
  8. David Guetta Press play, off we go, mime all the show. If anyone doubts this, have a look at the youtube footage showing him doing it. I get that he's constantly busy and that he works tirelessly across the Globe and so some of his shows are live and occasionally he "has a day off" with a prerecorded show, but my god that is awful. I'm not paying for someone to press play, that's taking the piss. For the record, I absolutely detest his music.
  9. I was at Edgbaston for the 3rd day and I absolutely loved it. The crowd are brilliantly hostile, the weather was amazing...the only downside was I wanted to pop into the club shop to pick up a Bears top but it was nigh on impossible. Internet it is. Also loving the support Bell got, and he really did come out with a more positive attacking stance. "MITCHELL, MITCHELL, MITCHELL"
  10. This forum must be the easiest trolling ground on the internets right now. Come on everyone, don't feed them. I have trouble keeping up with the goings on with my own club's forum, let alone anyone else's.
  11. Looks true. What an absolute bellend. I'm astonished.
  12. Not only is the picture 100% NOT a fake who anybody with even the slightest knowledge of photo manipulation could tell you, I genuinely believes that you were trolling with your "I'll change the guys pants colour so it's fake" until just now. This deal is on and it will be finalised today. Shirt on the website, official announcement finalised. Mental trolling.
  13. This has either made that Max bloke very proud of his unbelievable tolling ability or a Villa player is about to shaft this club more than anyone has shafted this club since Steve Hodge.
  14. Blatantly suggestive. words removed. They are from London. They can say what they want and the tourists will believe it. It's totally out of order. History is the one thing we've got left to cling onto, and even that's being forgotten.
  15. Only saving of this match is someone doing some tail-end Mony Panesaar type hero antics and batting out the....what's likely to be 2 days
  16. It's our right to struggle at the home of cricket. They always do us when they're here. The ultra-aggressive batting plus a slow wicket and fast outfield has definitely made me wish we'd won the toss...
  17. Ah, man I have one of his early recordings compilations, weird and wonderful.
  18. I have looked at "artists impression" drawings of Pluto since I was a kid. It's freezing, with snow and dark blue colouration. I can't believe I'm looking at a photograph of a clearly red hued, barren Pluto, and we've not even received the high resolution pictures yet. Crazy.
  19. New Tame Impala released yesterday.
  20. I'd also like to add to the fact that he's both a Villa fan and a Bears fan, so it's everything I'd want in a sportsman apart from maybe adding Moseley RFC in there!
  21. Thank god Bell put in a decent 2nd innings. 60 with us on the front foot is fine. I was beginning to think that the Bears' main man might be flaking too much...
  22. "Big club" is probably my most hated term in modern football. A phrase used by children in playgrounds that replaces "My Dad's Jeff Capes". And adults that just need to stop.
  23. One hundred and fifty one pages (of the second thread on this topic) says gut feeling doesn't come true (...Most of the time. It's 50/50 etc etc. sorry donnie)
  24. Cortese's name magically appearing then this Nike bloke....we're looking our marbles, clearly.
  25. A welcome return to form from our favourite 'keeper. edit- however, less of the Comic Sans gareth.
