    Liverpool for all the reasons described. Infiltrated the media, won't SHUT UP when they're not relevant, fans won't shut up about anything, opinionated black armband wearing gimps with a chip on the shoulder that another bunch of annoy gimps from the city across the road became more famous. And a bonus point for all the Liverpool fans with the strongest cockney accents who talk about "This is Liverpool Football club" etc etc. Shut up, you're from Ilford. If you love them so much, bugger off to Fazakerley.

    Why would I do that though? It indicates I am preoccupied with small heath, and that couldn't be further from the truth. The longer they stay down the more they move into Coventry territory: some bitter vitriolic nobodies.

    I was at this- it really was a great game. It's not often I come out of Villa Park and think well, we gave it a crack but couldn't quite do it.

    GOAT absolutely blew my socks off when I listened to their debut album only last week. I didn't actually know the band; it was through their bassist, Thundercat, that's I'd heard of them. I've got to say I'm not a fan of Thundercat's solo album on Ninja Tune, but this is an absolute beauty of an album

    I love the Nextmen. They are quite picky about their output though, so not a massive catalogue for the amount of time they've been putting out stuff. I am listening to Futurology by the Manics, and it's their best since 1998 IMO.

    ...whilst we are poor to watch, gradually losing attendance over time and losing fans in the city of Birmingham to North West and London big boys. The problem with going on a massive rant rugely is it makes us look like we have a chip on our shoulder, and we very probably do. All of our old rivals from back in the day have accelerated away from us, and we're kind of irrelevant. So, probs keep the billy big bollocks pointless debate about who's bigger quiet. We can pipe up about this later when Larry Ellison buys us.

    I absolutely hate this fixture because I'm a Brummie. I hate it because I had to walk around my own city getting shouted out by complete imbeciles. I hated going to it because I do not take great pleasure walking to Villa Park, my home stadium, whilst avoiding bottles being thrown at me. I hate it because it brings out the few idiots my own club has. Thank God I can walk around these days in North London and the worst reaction I get is the odd bemused Arsenal fan saying "good luck with that, mate"

    Not happy. I hate this fixture. They also have a habit of rising to games like this and always doing us as underdogs. Strangely enough, the games when their squad was at it's strongest were those derby years under MON when we'd win. But this has embarrassment written all over it, especially as it's at VP.

    I'm spending my Saturday night binge-watching the second series of BoJack Horseman. If they were finding the rules of their universe they created in the first series, they've perfected it now. The writing is so much better, it's actually the funniest series I've watched for a good year.

    It was a tricky bargain, but I managed to get Lifeforms shrink wrapped mint condition LP for a fiver about 4 years ago. The guy took some persuading that his original price was 'all its worth'

    The last few pages have coincidentally made up the mid-section of a live mix I did. Well, not quite. Nice It Up by Mungo's Hi-Fi was in there, and Bad Kingdom by Moderat which is absolutely stunning
