  1. Mentioned a few pages back but: "Tbh I at the moment I just don't care anymore. I am sick of going to Villa Park expecting a defeat. I am sick of away fans seeing us as a easy win. I am sick of us patient Villa fans paying money to see total shit. I am sick of aimless possession football with no movement. I am sick of no runners and awful delivery into the penalty area. I am sick of this side falling apart whenever Vlaar gets injured. I am sick of the lack of investment and lack of passion of our owner. I am sick of Lambert delivering pish poor home results than even under Mcleish would be seen as awful. I am sick of the best thing on match day being the chippy before the match. I am sick of terrible traffic going and getting out of Villa park and the dark, wet, bleak nights. I am sick of dreading to watch match of the day. I am sick of Villa just run as a also ran club and staying in the premier league as a good season. I am sick of bullshit promises and no delivery. I am sick of it." I completely agree with everything said above, aside from the bit regarding lack of investment. I am done with Villa. I love the club so much, but there's a point where it becomes "meh, fck it", For me, that was today. Fck. It.
  2. And not a single **** was given this day by any of the mob in claret and blue. We won't go down, but we are turgid to watch. I don't care.
  3. I am still stuck on Dark Souls. I made the mistake of trying to blast through rather than build properly so as a result spent 3 months trying to beat Smough and Ornstein. Then got stuck on Gravelord Nito and gave up. Started again a few months ago and building properly have just beaten Sif. Not looking forward to going back to Anor Londo

  5. I've only just come back to revisit this thread for the first time in a long while, and I have to say I applaud those of you who've been open enough to talk about your experiences, I hope anyone who has read the thread and thinks they may be struggling has seen the link for IAPT services I posted a few pages back and have referred themselves/gone to their GP. There was something else I wanted to add previously, and it's this: Research shows that at any given point in their lifetime, on average 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health difficulty. Consider if 40000 people attend a football match (non-club specific), on average, 10000 of them will experience this at some point in their lives. Another thing to consider: Schizophrenia is more common than Diabetes in the adult population
  6. Lack of ratings/reactions on this thread says it all. (unless my phone's doing something stupid)
  7. Can we have a "none of the above" option for MOTM? I generally try to avoid snap reactions but I have just had enough of this. A change needs to happen, but the thing is I just don't know what I would change... and I think that's the mood at the club - something needs changing, no-one knows what. We on VT can sit and pound the drum for Lambert out, or Lerner out, or Faulkner out, or everyone out or whatever, but at the end of the day we have no real influence over what goes on at the football club.
  8. You may find these services helpful - most accept self referrals: http://www.iapt.nhs.uk/services/services/west-midlands-nhs-iapt-services/
  9. http://www.ntw.nhs.uk/pic/selfhelp/ this website is very helpful
  10. See what I mean That's exactly my point - people with a mental health problem could be anyone. They aren't (as is commonly portrayed) people shuffling around or running around screaming bloody murder. Chances are ender4 you probably will know someone with a mental health problem, but you won't know it
  11. IAPT services are now providing treatment for the "basics" such as depression and anxiety, and most of them accept self referrals but aren't very well publisced (sp?)
  12. Following the success of Bedlam on Channel 4, I thought it would be interesting to get people's perspectives on mental health problems, particularly as at any given point 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in their lifetimes. FWIW I have not experienced a mental health problem but I work in the field and find the stigma to be the worst thing, particularly in terms of stopping people looking for support
  13. For some reason my app hasn't updated the topic lists since the Newcastle game so having to access via google chrome for iphone
  14. Nothing less than 33 points will be acceptable

  16. Tapatalk has updated and now I can't seem to quote posts. Unless I'm being dense. Which is probably more likely
  17. I don't want him to leave... He's always my leading scorer on football manager
  18. FWIW this tapatalk thing is quite good. Or are you developing a stand alone VT app limpid?
