They look set to be taken over by one of the richest men in China, Robin Li. Just a bit more competition for us in the Championship and in China.

I have no issue with Morrison coming in. He clearly has talent, and could cause havoc in the Championsip.

Not forgetting we have Steve Clarke organising them now also, so may not be as useless. On paper Richards Okore Elphick and Amavi should have a field day in the Championship.

Glad he's staying, I really like him. My issue is that he's got no chance of playing Saturday Tuesday most weeks judging by previous seasons.

He would score shed loads up there. Against lesser teams he has a knack of scoring. Would suit him well.

Alan Nixon saying Brentford will be signing Sawyers and Bentley the keeper. Good signings for them. I know many on here wanted is to have a look at Bentley.

Big Keith says we are already active. Elphick looks likely to land this week. Hopefully we can move onto the next one quickly. RDM has already reviewed last season and knows what we need. It seems we won't faff about this summer. Added to the fact he's already spoken to every player and outlined their future role and his plans for ten staying or going. I'd hope it's not another 3 weeks before anything more materialises.

We are over stocked in a few areas. We don't need 3 first team left backs in Amavi, Cissokho and Bennett. We don't need all the centre backs, with Baker returning and Clark, Okore, Lescott, Richards and Toner. So there are areas to trim and bring in more quality whilst moving on a few others.

Our new CEO, Keith Wyness, fronted up to the media today alongside Di Matteo and Xia. Spoke very well, and comes with a good track record and experience from Everton. It's good to have an experienced CEO in place and an owner with ambition. Wyness has a big job on his hands. "I've seen many chairman come in and promise the world and deliver an atlas!" Let's hope we don't get an atlas.

Good news for me. He will boss the Championship. Needs a run of games and he's bound to get that with amount we will be playing!
