    Percy stole Gregg Evans thunder. Percy also harping on about Football League have concerns over the make up of the Villa board. The only one reporting that from the journos breaking the news. Plucked out of the fears of some supporters no doubt.

    I think Black portrayed the incident completely wrong in the media. Okores version was a little different and more about wanting to play, and not refusing to sit on the bench. He could be quality for us next season. I hope he stays. I was right next to him in the preseason game at Walsall when he was in with the fans, and have always quite liked him. I'd have given him a new deal earlier in the season rather than allow him to have 1 year remaining.

    I noticed in the CNN interview when he was talking he kept referring to 'we' and 'us' in reference to him buying the club. When quizzed by the reporter on it he bumbled about meaning his company. I didn't buy that. BULLSHIT! It's the government conspiracy!

    I like the way he's in large media outlets talking us up and talking about the deal. He's raising awareness from day one. I don't think it's any coincidence. I just hope he can get the decisions right to get us promoted and beyond. The proof will be in the pudding.

    Who did RDM work with at his other clubs? I can remember Eddie Newton at Chelsea, but not sure at his other clubs. Is he a lone wolf? We need a good strong coaching team to come in IMO. Edit - he had Lombardo and Battara with him at Schalke who both worked with Mancini at City. Lombardo is quoted recently saying he will be working with Mihaljovic next season, so no RDM reunion it seems.

    Please do tell what else happens in the future? Whats the lotto numbers for Saturday? To call him a clown and comparing him to Lerner with no foundation is ludicrous. He's not had chance to do anything yet and he's already written off as worse than Lerner. He couldn't do much worse.

    Daily Mail running a full story on Moyes being offered the position formally and his brother/agent is negotiating terms. Xia was impressed by his vision and plan for building 3 teams, a promotion team, stabiliser in the Prem then to build I guess. On my phone so not copied article.

    I'm thankful we've finally been sold. There's always going to be reservations about any new owner. It's a suck it and see scenario. I have a feeling the good times will roll. The first football club to be 100% Chinese owned when they're hell bent on dominating football can only be a good thing in my eyes. Welcome Dr X!

    There's enough crying going on already before we actually know anything! We've seen Xia do more interviews in a week than Lerner did in 10 years. He's saying the right things currently. I just hope he adds value with his interviews rather than spouting shite. Time will tell on a lot of counts and fears fans have.

    There's an interview going round on Twitter from Dr X saying he wants to keep the managerial appointment secret for one more week. Whethers waiting to get through the proper persons test, or waiting for that managers season to be finished remains to be seen. At least we will know soon enough. If it was RDM he wouldn't be jetting out to speak to Lazio IMO.

    I'm hoping we land Moyes. The ducks seem to be falling into line. Looking like Moyes or Pearson, and RDM showing us he's not going to hang around. Or it could be someone completely from left field.

    That was my point earlier... What makes this Mr Jin credible in the slightest, who is credited with the quotes. It's all scaremongering at this stage. Everyone is jumping on the 'he doesn't own 5 companies' line, when in reality they're in advanced negotiations to formalise this. An oversight by avfc putting it the statement. As for the Birds Nest, he's credited with working on the design of the site and not Birds Nest specifically. Relax for now guys. Hollis seems to have done his research and vetted interested parties.

    There is indeed a lot of smoke. It seems that we are a pawn in the Chinese Governments aim at dominating football. If we benefit from it then great, but to what extent do we sell ourselves? Is it any different the likes of Etihad? If we do become massively successful with Chinese Government backing we sure won't be popular!!

    The full article from FT states that they're finalising the other 4 companies as with us I imagine. May explain where the 500 million in their accounts has gone. I'm an optimist. Let's see where we go. It certainly makes a change to Lerner and knowing we weren't getting anywhere
