    Hull promoted, which in glad about. They would have been more of a force next season ahead of Sheff Wednesday. Sheff W will be around the play offs but Hull would have title challengers. For me Newcastle, Norwich, Brighton and us should be challenging. There's always a surprise package too to throw into the mix.

    I think the point may be that clubs from the Chinese Super League wouldn't want them, more than their capability of playing there. I can't see many clubs queuing for them.

    I'm pleased with this. We could have certainly done much worse. Young, successful, winner, and seems to have a ruthless side from his days sacking off KPB at Schalke. Needs to instil a winning mentality and sort the squad out, it's a big task but I'll back him and support him until I have reason not to. Part of the new chapter of AVFC.

    Percy stole Gregg Evans thunder. Percy also harping on about Football League have concerns over the make up of the Villa board. The only one reporting that from the journos breaking the news. Plucked out of the fears of some supporters no doubt.

    I think Black portrayed the incident completely wrong in the media. Okores version was a little different and more about wanting to play, and not refusing to sit on the bench. He could be quality for us next season. I hope he stays. I was right next to him in the preseason game at Walsall when he was in with the fans, and have always quite liked him. I'd have given him a new deal earlier in the season rather than allow him to have 1 year remaining.

    I noticed in the CNN interview when he was talking he kept referring to 'we' and 'us' in reference to him buying the club. When quizzed by the reporter on it he bumbled about meaning his company. I didn't buy that. BULLSHIT! It's the government conspiracy!

    I like the way he's in large media outlets talking us up and talking about the deal. He's raising awareness from day one. I don't think it's any coincidence. I just hope he can get the decisions right to get us promoted and beyond. The proof will be in the pudding.

    Who did RDM work with at his other clubs? I can remember Eddie Newton at Chelsea, but not sure at his other clubs. Is he a lone wolf? We need a good strong coaching team to come in IMO. Edit - he had Lombardo and Battara with him at Schalke who both worked with Mancini at City. Lombardo is quoted recently saying he will be working with Mihaljovic next season, so no RDM reunion it seems.

    Please do tell what else happens in the future? Whats the lotto numbers for Saturday? To call him a clown and comparing him to Lerner with no foundation is ludicrous. He's not had chance to do anything yet and he's already written off as worse than Lerner. He couldn't do much worse.

    Daily Mail running a full story on Moyes being offered the position formally and his brother/agent is negotiating terms. Xia was impressed by his vision and plan for building 3 teams, a promotion team, stabiliser in the Prem then to build I guess. On my phone so not copied article.

    I'm thankful we've finally been sold. There's always going to be reservations about any new owner. It's a suck it and see scenario. I have a feeling the good times will roll. The first football club to be 100% Chinese owned when they're hell bent on dominating football can only be a good thing in my eyes. Welcome Dr X!
