  1. Hull (A), - Win Spurs (H) - Lose Everton (H) - Lose West Ham (A) - Win Cardiff (H) - Win WBA (A) - Draw Sunderland (H) - Win
  2. I wouldn't be surprised if arsenal came in for Benteke in January. The team they have is very good but they don't really have backup for Giroud upfront (unless you want to count bendtnar). They have money to spend and should be buying from a position of strength. However, should they keep up form and progress in champs league they will need someone who isn't cup tied. Which would make the beast a perfect option.

Yep I'd agree magnkarl. First time around I liked mourinho as he riled fergie and wasn't too bad. But since joining Madrid he seems to have got a hell of lot worse. It's probably why he was overlooked for the utd job.
  4. Shearer Ferdinand was pretty good as was fowler and collymore
  5. I agree what you say about the German attack, but the German midfield is incredible with numerous options there. The defence is still strong as well.
  6. Belgium have some great talent, but still think they need a fair bit of work to overtake both Spain and Germany.
  7. Had a hattrick against Man U. Btw LOL @ Chelsea Getting rid of Sturridge to get Ba. Getting rid of Lukaku to get a 50 year old Eto'o. Was that the 5-5 last Fergie game, think the Man United players minds weren't on the match that day. Maybe I heard the fact before that game!Don't forget he is only 20, give him a couple of yrs and if he continues his development he will be scoring against everyone
  8. Yeah I agree, said the same in the Chelsea thread.. He could become the worlds best out and out striker Well he has more to his game than out and out striker, much like that easy comparison, Drogba. He does indeed, but he plays that role more than the likes of Ronaldo/messi and I don't think he'll be as good as them (no slur on him obviously)

Mourinho losing the plot? Stormed out of the champs league press conference as apparently didn't want to answer questions on mata/de bruyne etc.. Still would like to know what has happened with de bruyne, got a lot of praise during the summer, got a good assist opening day and now doesn't get into the squad
  11. True. I actually see Baccy as a great RB. He's a good athlete, great pace, and committed in the tackle. He's also decent when pressing forward. I'd like to think we can accomodate both Waccy Baccy and Lowton in the same side. I'd like to see Lowton get a run in central midfield, as I think he has good skills and awareness. Lowton centre mid? Have you been on the wacky baccy? I don't think he has the skill range or passing ability for that role
  12. Regarding the 532, PL got it right against city, especially without navas starting, as they are narrow and all play comes through the middle. Against teams who play with out and out wingers the formation is more exposed and teams will get in behind you. Hopefully, if we continue to use it, it is for select games only.
  13. Would agree with that, watching the highlights if Chelsea spurs yesterday, avb was constantly turning to friedel (looking like they were discussing tactics). Friedel comes across as a very intelligent man and I'm sure he would make a fantastic coach at some point.
  14. He is pretty much the same as Nzog, will have a few good games and then be atrocious after that.
  15. ^Agree with what you have said. Moyes must've known the squad though and should've acted earlier in th transfer market, bringing in feliani early doors (and cheaper) as well as a couple of others would've seriously strengthened the side.
  16. A Man Utd "fan" that I know has put on fb that he is glad his second team (WBA) won yesterday...he has never mentioned them before, didn't take long for the glory supporting to wear off

Torres looked to have got that drive and hungerness back. Showed some lovely runs. However, disgraceful behaviour scratching vertonghan. Unlucky red though
  18. We've probably been outplayed in midfield every game this season with or without Westwood
  19. I was meaning the same mid three.. Westwood has to earn his place back. The three in possession of the shirt haven't done anything to lose it.
  20. He has a good presence and plenty of energy. Not the best on the ball, and did get caught in possession a few times. That being said we definitely perform better with him in there and has to keep his place for next match
  21. Westwood has to earn his place back, at the moment he will be on the bench in my eyes
  22. Since that defeat to us arsenal have been very very impressive. Ramsay is showing the potential he had pre the leg break, ozil is an awesom player and will bring out the best in others. Still a question mark over the squad size if they get any injuries, but I expect ten to sign someone else in January.
  23. Changed the tactics and got the result. It wasn't pretty and city probably should have scored more first half, but they all count so credit to Lambert for that. Concerns about corners and the zonal marking and the fact that we have everyone back, which I think brings more pressure onto us.
