Just watched the episode. As I've said before I only started watching from eccelstone and don't know much of the previous story lines etc. thought this episode was nothing more than meh... It was ok, but nothing to shout about. Was actually disappointed that it didn't tie up the Clara in time stream story. Will have to rewatch series 6 or 7 as looks like the silence will be back.

It was a brilliant performance and it did look grat. I remember thinking Clark looked fantastic barking out orders to more experienced ayers, whilst looking calm on the ball. Kmac looked like he knew why he was doing and that h woul bring his youth team players into the fold. Was really excited about how we would progress.. Then Newcastle struck and its been pretty much doom and gloom since

De Bruyne is miles better than anything we have at the moment so why would we not want him. Yes in an ideal world we would be able to bring through all our youth, and who knows that may happen. But if the opportunity to sign De Bruyne is there then we would be stupid not to go for it

Anyone know why we never seem to bring through successful full backs? In fact I can't even think of the last one to make it (who played majority of football at fb, rather than changed into it like ridgewell). Do we play a system where they don't shine?

Sure I read somewhere that Barcelona were influenced by us and so had the colours (claret and blue), which were then slightly adapted throughout time

Agreed, whilst he would do a decent job, we would have to change the whole playing style to accommodate him and then change back when he is gone

Delph cost 5m and it took him 3 years to settle. He was from this country. It was more due to his injuries than not settling

Thats why we give him 15 mins here 20 mins there as a sub. Very little pressure on him then Ross Barkley seems to cope. Yes he is physically bigger than JG but if you're good enough then you're old enough -

DeBruyne would be an amazing signing can't see it happening though. As for rodwell there is a very good player there but we would get less minutes out of him than jenas

The Wolves game is on I believe. They haven't called it off despite having 5 off playing internationals. It is on, but isn't Jack away with Ireland so can't play against wolves? -

It's a tricky one because as of yet we have not seen lambert give the youth players much of a run out. Be nice for some to be getting some 10 minute cameo appearances. I haven't seen much of the youth games but donacien looks very athletic and could do well. -

??? Really Because in reality all strikers are interchangable, no matter their build/strengths. Because Bowery's physical attributes didn't help to see out the game. We should have brought on a quick, physically slight striker with no experience. It was the last part I was refering to, doesn't blood home grown talent. Our current side has 3, and last season he gave appearances to a few. He clearly does. He also rates Callum, and will blood him in when the time is right. Only Burke last season I think.
