Seriously?? No chance of Rosicky, Diaby or Osman coming, Naismith is shite, but wouldn't mind Anderson tbh, his talents have been completely wasted at Utd. No not serious was just listing some experienced players who aren't always playing for their sides and can play in the advanced mid role.

HH thanks for the post. I think we all can see what is happening, and hope for the success of Lambert as this would mean our Villa is doing well. Yes some would like it to happen sooner but ultimately we all want the same. Lets hope Lerner/Faulkner can get the deals done early. Interesting to hear that PL would've kept some experience looking back. Hypothetically who would this have been?

Just watching motd and Tom huddlestone absolutely dominating midfield. When he wa mentioned in the summer many people mocked and said he was useless. Well he is exactly what our midfield could use right now. Don't think he would be available now unfortunately.

As far as I'm aware he was a cb all through the youth team and when he when made his first team bow. For me he doesn't have enough ability on the ball to be a dm anyway (not that our current midfield are much better). Alongside vlaar he was starting to look a decent cb. Needs that experienced head alongside him

How much of an increase did we give him. I said at the of the Benteke discussions that giving someone over a 50% pay rise is ridiculous (even that is extortionate) and tht players will rest on laurels. Seeming this is the case with AW, and to think some thought he would go to Liverpool

He was hardly tearing up trees when he played for Chesterfield, I'm not holding my breath that somehow stealing a goal is going to turn him in to a Premier League player. He's Lambert's Salifou. I'd say helenious is lamberts salifou as he doesn't play. Bowery is lamberts sidwell coming on with ten minutes to go

Yes sack him for a mistake he made with a fan.But it is not the 1st time, Culverhouse has done it on several occasions. If he can't take the slagging he shouldn't be in the job. I don't agree. If the fans can't take a little back maybe they should hold it. It's all part and parcel of being an adult. Would you be in trouble at work if you swore at a customer?

I occasionally have very angry people on the phone swearing at me and disagreeing with what I say. I can ask them to refrain from doing so, and fair enough Culverhouse can't do that. But at the same time there is absolutely no way in hell I could get away with swearing back at them, I would be instantly up for dismissal and rightly so. There is no excuse for a member of staff for swearing at a paying customer

Swansea will love the space we will give their midfield. Remember last season at their place when we somehow got a draw after first 20 minutes Swansea should've had about 5. That's the badger. As for city I think it would be possible to take some on loan, after all Barry has gone out. I don't think Richards or Lescott would be on as high as him. But I think both of those at cb and rb would tighten us considerably
