  1. Just to point out that despite all the above, those going will enjoy a good away day!
  2. Also Gil came off in the U21 game with a tight hamstring so unlikely to start this one. Grealish and Gestede could be pushing for starts I'd imagine.
  3. So are we all in agreement we won't bump this thread anymore unless someone has news he's definitely leaving, can everybody just confirm that?
  4. I fancy them to finish 7th this season, possibly even an outside chance of ousting Spurs to 6th. Have made good additions, have a really good midfield and Gomis is banging them in up front.
  5. Had a bet with my mate he'd get at least 12 goals this season, didn't realise Paul Clement was planning on leaving him on the bench in league games after spunking 3m on him!
  6. Bit early to say crowds are up, we've had one home game! The Man Utd game always attracts 40 - 42k there so isn't really an indicator of how our crowds will be this season. I have my doubts about this one being over 20k but we shall see.
  7. I can see why the club have opted not to take the extra. Relying on 900 or so tickets being sold via general sale to people who obviously don't go away regularly is a bit of a risk. I think sadly with it being a Sunday and TV game the initial allocation didn't fly off the shelves as quickly as we'd have hoped.
  8. I definitely wouldn't see her again, women should seem most attractive at the early dating stage, the thrill of the chase etc. If on date 1 she doesn't seem that attractive to you, imagine how she'll appear further down the line.
  9. Maybe worth looking at Huawei as they seem good value on the market currently.
  10. I went the season before last and it's up there with Goodison for worst away end in the league, terrible views (even those not classed as restricted can be), very old grotty stands, and just generally a dive.
  11. They are very much a solid mid-table side at the moment, will win roughly as many as they lose this season I reckon. They have won more points on the road than at home under Pardew, which is unusual, but as others have said is down to having lots of pace in the side to counter attack. Chance for us to show we have more about us this season by going there and at least matching them, I'd be happy with a point.
  12. Got mine last week. The fact it's got to general sale without us selling the initial allocation though makes me doubtful about us taking the extra 1000.
  13. Man City wanted to keep him, if he'd stayed with them he'd certainly be earning a lot more than he would at Liverpool who do not have Champions League revenue or an Oil rich Sheikh owning them.
  14. In their petition to Ellis Short they demand 'Ellis short put some money back into the team instead of pocketing it all for himself' they seem to be ignoring a few things: - Last accounts show a 9m loss - Year before that show a 13m loss - They've spent 15m net this Summer (if they end up stuck with Alvarez following the legal case), if not they've still spent 8m net and this is most likely coming out of Short's pocket
  15. Looks a bit weak but Sherwood may opt for it if players aren't up to speed and we will therefore get stronger in the coming weeks.
  16. Someone on another forum said no viagogo replacement until after the Sunderland game.
  17. They've spent 9.5m + the undisclosed fee for Lambert. I assume the 12 in your name refers to your age.
  18. League Position 14th Total Goals Scored 46 Total Points 44 Top Scorer Gestede Most Assists Gil POTY Amavi YPOTY Grealish Surprise Package Gil Biggest Disappointment Ayew
  19. Stoke are very different to Leicester, they've been in the Prem for a good few years now and very rarely involved in a relegation battle. However, if Traore is looking round the facilities and different Cities, I can't see how the Britannia and Stoke will beat Villa Park and Bham.
  20. Hard to pick 3 with the window still open, but I think it will be between: Leicester, Bournemouth, Watford, Norwich, Sunderland and West Ham as the surprise team to struggle, not convinced by Bilic and they have the Europa League which nearly always causes a dip in league form.
  21. Spurs are a solid top 6 outfit these days, they've come a long way in the last 5 years or so. They should be very pleased with top 6 considering it took them 14 Premier League seasons before they managed to finish in it.
  22. All speculation, but Alan Nixon said he believes Kozak is available for the right offer. Could be realistic if we sign Adebayor as we'd have him, Gestede, Ayew and Gabby.
  23. Apparently he's on loan at Lens for the season, and is a fullback.
  24. Probably for the best as he's not good enough to ever be better than 4th choice CB here. Do think this means a CB will be coming in though, leaving the options as Richards, Clark, New CB, Okore and Crespo as the utility defender incase of CB injuries. Think Senderos will leave by Sept.
