I'm still pootling along, rebuilt my system and have found it amazingly accurate at picking three legged horses. I've still been doing bets every day, not had to put any money into my account since April. I've got 4 systems running at the moment. I've not posted anything as there'd be a real mash-up that probably wouldn't make any sense. If you want me to put some horses up let me know and I'll stick some up. I've had a few big winners.

It used to be worth a trip to Ma Kellys, Portchester/Paulsgrove, not been for years though, then either sit eating the fish & chips looking down Portsmouth Harbour or drive and have a sit looking down over Portsmouth / Gosport / Fareham / Hayling Island / Isle of Wight from the top of Portsdown Hill (if you're ever down this way the view is well worth the trip) The Frying Fish in Warsash is the best chippy near me.

Thought I'd add some bits and pieces in respect to what my latest machine learning model has discovered when trying to predict the winner of a race, the following few features are important, listed in order of importance: Did the horse place in its last race? Did the horse win its last race? Has the horse got the top pace for the race? pace is more important on flat races. Does the horse have the highest average pace on its past 6 races against the other runners in the race? Does the horse have the top official rating against the other runners in the race? Does the horse have the lowest odds? If you're manually scoring race cards, the top few features should give a good starter for picking a winner. I've got a model trained with about 2000 features that performs far worse than a model with far fewer, less is more. Having typed all this, if you like the name of a horse, go for it - it worked for me today with Zig Zag Zyggy won at 21.0 (it appeared on the 3 legged horses report) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ To pick a horse to place gives much the same in respect to features to select, but does have more of a dependence on how the horse scores against the other runners in the race, goes without saying when betting on a single horse to place always go for horses 5/1 or over - multiples is a different thing altogether. I've been putting the bets on the horses I've been posting here daily along with some experimental bets since the end of April. Experimental bets have been horses that I've spotted that have high odds and a good percentage chance of placing. So far I've put in £50, taken out £65, tonight I have £122 in the account. The best day for me has been the 19th May - all the to place horses won. In terms of betting strategy, I've not been putting on lots of money in each bet, 25p E/W singles also doubles / trixies / yankees - I've tended not to go for any bigger multiples. I've been putting on anything between £5 and £20 each day. This really has become a full-time hobby of mine. Hope this has been useful - although I've probably jinxed myself now.
