I just bet online. I wouldn't be able to make it out to the bookies most days any how. I've got single accounts with all the top bookies, as all this is purely a hobby any money I win mostly stays in the bookies accounts and when the account(s) have a healthy balance, I draw off a couple hundred quid and push that into my wheelchair fund. I also do all the bookies daily spin free spins to top up balances, it shouldn't be surprising but you often get a decent amount.

I'm going to bang on about non-runners, I have the following in a high stakes e/w trixie - 80p Fairyhouse 1420 Mikita@126.0 Fairyhouse 1620 Mont Saint Vincent@41.0 Fairyhouse 1720 Insouciant Dallier@41.0 The 1620 has had the favourite Hand Over Fist withdrawn, which conveniently has led to a Rule 4, 10p deduction. I'm not sure what time this happened or even if it happened sometime after Mikita placed - my system has bunged out some cack, but has been quite good over the past few weeks spotting long shots. I'm uber-suspicious, is there something out there that looks at non-runners and shows the time that they are declared a non-runner? If there isn't, I'm sure I could knock something up, not that it would be useful in predictions but would be useful to see if there are really any patterns for horses being withdrawn (scientific-method and all that).

I like to go for the races with a decent number of horses as well, but most time find my bets crippled by horses being withdrawn for any reason or having rule 4 applied, if I was big on conspiracy I'd say something was going on as I surely can't be that unlucky on such a regular basis - I've just noticed that Topanga has been withdrawn from the 1615 today. I'm still ticking along, not put any money into my accounts since earlier this year, I'm not getting rich from this, but more importantly I'm not losing either. It's certainly keeping me occupied. I'm still only putting down pennies. I also do the bookies freebies daily, spins / pick horses to win/place etc, this certainly helps keep things ticking along if there have been any poor runs with the horses. I've recently been trying forecast / tricast bets, only because my latest system is able to generate a prediction on all the days races in a few minutes. Most days the system has given winning bets (not that I've bet on all). Any one got any hints / tips for these? I'd be interested in knowing if there are particular races that should be preferred over others.

Anyone playing on a PC? My son is having mega issues with stuttering when the game has been paused or a corner is being taken. We've tried tinkering with vsync, windowed mode etc, nothing seems to help. He's playing on a pretty decent PC. I'm such a boring old git, I gave up with PC gaming years ago when I found I spent more time tinkering to get a game to work than I did playing it.
