How about you do a bit of searching, I asked chat-gpt "how would you prove a rock is from the moon?", I got this reply: (but I'm sure this won't be sufficient for you) Anyone else feel that there is a wind up going on here? As entertaining as reading all this has been, it feel almost like the sane ones here are arguing against a really badly trained conspiracy-biased-LLM.

I am sorry, I just have to bite... lets have a little think about what you've said here... If you like reading, I recommend you have a read of 'The Demon Haunted World' by Carl Sagan. For all the posters suggesting a quick Google search will put to rest any notion that the moon landings were faked, chances are the filter bubble might only reinforce any conspiratorial flights of fancy. *Wikipedia - Filter Bubble

wow, I just stepped into the you can't educate pork thread. When I was in hospital for a period of time earlier in the year, we set up a twice daily conspiracy theory meeting, we discussed everything from the moon landings to birds not being real. My topics were Bag Puss and the magical mechanical mouse-organ being completely fabricated by Emily and The Button Moon landings were faked by Mr Spoon to fund his meth addiction.

I love SMB, probably my favourite game ever. I used to be really good at it, now with old age and a large dose of MS I'm pretty terrible at it. It's probably the game and franchise I have played the most. I am also geeky enough to have written my own (crap) versions of it on almost every computer I have owned. the latest attempts were during lockdown to learn phaser, then Unity and then later on Godot.

Gosport used to have a station, the closest station by land now is Fareham (6 miles away), or if you hop on the Gosport ferry to Pompey you can get on the train at Portsmouth Harbour.

Being the geek that I am, agree, but I'd put the ST in second place, I found it a real bastard for writing scrolling games. PCs back then were about as powerful as a Speak and Spell.

what a mess! I honestly didn't think England could be any worse, in the World Cup I think it'll be an over-achievement if we manage to finish bottom of our table. ffs.

there's some big priced winners today, might be worth having a punt on some. I've gone for Misemerald in this race. Only coz my system spewed out Ropey Guest and Tallys Son earlier, I didn't put anything on these and I was only watching, now I wish I had put them in a treble along with Warm Heart. That little wager would have got me my new wheelchair ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Its guaranteed that I've said this, I'm not going to win anything anytime soon now!

I haven't a clue what I've been doing the past month or so, my head is all over the place - MS brain fog. I've discovered that my Sky bet account is down to a tenner, and looking at bets I've skillfully managed to put money on the horses that my system hasn't even given a chance of even placing. I've also managed to build a new prediction model that has been trained on 2 million results and suggests its got a 37% hit rate, think I'll watch how it does rather than put money down! I've written some stonking code that'll probably take me the next year to understand.
