  2. The only twitter parody account worth a follow is US soccer guy. In my opinion of course
  3. Decent signing. But the loan thing does grate a little. Hope we are not just giving a player a chance to get a little more experience before being whipped away and leaving us back at square one. In my opinion the loan system is now out of control. Apparently Chelsea now have 24 players out on loan. Virtually a whole squad of players
  4. Gary Shaw, Gary Shaw, Gary Gary Shaw. When he gets the ball he's bound to score Gary Gary Shaw
  5. BBC Sport pundit Steve ClaridgeLOMAS GONE- Watford 4-0 Millwall Speaking following the news that Steve Lomas has been sacked as manager of Millwall: "I was actually at the game today. I'm not surprised with Steve's sacking. I think once you have lost the fans it is difficult to get them back. I think everything had turned and it was the best course of action." And today was the day Lambert lost the majority of the Villa support. He lost mine when he bought on Bowery for Kozak.
  6. Enjoy it all. And remember. If the missus gets you a rubbish present then DHUTWU
  7. I got a text off a Spuds supporting mate after our game. It just said "oh dear" Any suggestions as to a suitable response
  8. Do you mean for Soccer or for all of the US sports ? There are massive away followings. Especially in the NFL and college football. I have been to a fair few sporting events in the US and all had away followings present
  9. Mine would be one for the future. I would like to clout the Hollywood executive who gives the go ahead for a remake of Jaws. Should that ever happen
  10. What an embarrassing interview from Jose Mourinho

Yes but we only spent 1 season in that division, their stay was a little longer Actually it was 2 seasons we spent in the 3rd Division 1970-71 and 71-72
  13. I wonder if they would have been in this mess if they had stayed at Highfield Road and modernised it rather than thinking the world revolves around shiny new stadiums
  14. It is being reported by various sources that Coventry have gone into liquidation
  15. Mr Levy at £30m it's a deal, it's a Steal, it's sale of the f****** century - in fact f*** it I think we'll keep him
  16. Villa drawn at home to Olympiacos or Anderlecht in the QF
  17. It was Billy Connolly who said. "The desire to be a politician should be enough to bar you from ever being one" I subscribe to that view
  18. I went to Pegasus Juniors v Southam United in the FA Vase. For me the best FA knockout competition. To think that either of these teams who played in front of about 75 today could get through to play the final at Wembley is proper fairytale stuff. Anyway only Southam can do it this year as they won 2-1
  19. Yep! :-) Aston Villa : The First Superclub (the story of Aston Villa, 1874-2012) This club history is far more extensive than any other complete history (510 pages) and contains a great deal of new material to take the club's history up to the present day and Paul Lambert's appointment. Please link to: http://www.lerwill-life.org.uk/astonvilla/superclub.htm On that webpage you will see how you might be able to purchase the book for only £20 including local delivery costs. My copy of this came this morning (signed as well !!) At first glance looks interesting
  20. No. Instead you will be taken over by First. Get the petition ready
