  1. Yep. If they wain all their remaining games they are Champions. Unlikely but it is now in their hands
  2. They have Doncaster next Saturday. A win there and I think that should just about make them safe. A loss though and they are still right in the mire
  3. If Fulham don't win today and Sunderland lose Monday then it's Cardiff Fulham and Sunderland for me
  4. That Bale goal is similar to one of my favourite Villa goals of all time. Tony Morley's winner in the European Cup away leg against Dynamo Berlin securing a 2-1 win
  5. The UK Government has said that Scotland could end up as a Third World country if they vote for independence. I don't know if things will improve to that extent, but you never know.
  6. It's been a fun day for sure (Since 1445 anyway)
  7. The special one being a bell end again. Let me guess...deflecting attention
  8. At least the knuckle draggers won't be able to mouth off about us too much now
  9. Love some of the replies. "Have you considered passing this on to a journalist or TV presenter"
  10. And they only had two shots on target all game. Suck it up Jose. You got beat. Get over it
  11. If we score the first goal today things could get interesting. I know the home support has tended to be on the side of Moyes until now but the tide does seem to be turning. If we do get the first it could mean frustration starting to get to the glory hunters
  12. That's not how it works. The rule doesn't say "intent to deny a goal scoring opportunity." No. It says denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within his own penalty area) Oxlade Chamberlain did what he did because he thought the ball was going in. So in his mind he was denying the opposing team a goal
  13. If the ball was going wide then why did Oxlade Chamberlain do what he did. He did it because he thought it was going in. I defy anyone in real time in the middle of the game to say definitively if that was going wide or not
  14. I think Brand is just doing the Wet Spam game
  15. Sunderland down to 10 men. Seems they have had a pretty poor day at the office
  16. Doesn't apply to mistaken identity Technically, the referee didnt see Ox handle the ball, so he didn't deal with it. He saw Gibbs handle the ball (though in reality that didn't happen) and he DID deal with that Fair enough. I can understand the reasoning there
  17. I was under the impression if the ref has dealt with the incident then they can't appeal
