    Better to use a decent private jet than some old clapped out plane that Cardiff would use.

    Another opening day defeat, compounded by a bad injury to Tyrone. We did ok in patches but our defence were hopeless and were even worse when we went to a back three. Newcastle deserved that and they doubled or trebled up on our players when we had the all out wide, it was one of those days but I expect a big improvement next weekend.

    I have been really confident all week that we will get a result tonight, now it's match day I'm not so sure.

    I wouldn't mind if we sell Cam as long as we insert a buy back clause, he's more likely to get a lot more playing time and we can judge if he is good enough for the Premier League without the risk of him not being good enough in a Villa shirt.

    Looks a big upgrade on Fabinho to me, last year it looked like Fabinhos legs had gone (not in a Douglas Bader way).

    I thought he looked good when he came on against Lazio, I'm hoping that he can stay injury free as we will need him more than ever this season.

    Gnonto spent a lot of time on the bench towards the end of last season at Leeds, he's only 19 and under the coaching at Villa he would only improve. Would still like a top drawer winger and attacker in.

    Progozhin has also gone silent which is very unusual for him.
