Not to mention the disgusting cheating at The Emirates stadium. Guendouzi shirt pulling on Trezeguet, Arsenal having a player in our wall (closer than allowed we had to retake a free kick in the same game because of having a player closer than allowed in opposition wall) and then Sokratis catching the ball in the last moments and no penalty for us.

I actually won’t see it as a failure because for me it’s about preparation for next season. I might have said it when Don Unai arrived that us finishing on 19 wins will be a challenging but realistic challenge and something that Don Unai can help us to achieve. We can become top 4 challengers under Don Unai.

My response was to him being called a liability. NONE of our players are liabilities under Don Unai. Yes some are weaker than others and will fall by the wayside but to call Bert a liability when he has contributed to us winning 6 points is shortsighted imo.

There was a lad on my street who was about 3/4 years older than us had an amazing left peg. Used to make us stand in goal and from just behind the half way line used to rifle it in top corner. And when we did get our hands on it a trip to A+E we went. This ball brings back bad memories . -
I think it’s a good move for him and Leicester. They have a decent squad and bringing Terry in will help. Obviously they’re gonna have to keep their WAG’s on lock and key but his defensive knowledge should help them. Deano needs to believe in his methods which had Walsall and Brentford playing so well. And that first half season during lockdown season imo was the best I’ve seen Villa play for years.

Thanks for clearing that up. Evidently yesterday his poor positioning, tracking, 91% pass accuracy, cutting off passing lanes all contributed to the loss yesterday.

I always find it amazing when a big building is knocked down just how much land is left behind. LDV on Drews lane is absolutely massive. But when it was there I didn’t know it was that big. The academy building has so much land around it too.

Went past the new academy building after work Friday. The sheer scale of the building is huge!

We will beat Liverpool. We can beat Man Yoo as long as we keep calm and don’t play the fixture. So many games we’ve lost even when they’ve played poorly because it’s man Yoo. Newcastle is the only game where I’m not confident of avoiding defeat.

To be fair to them they are good at pressing and dominating possession. Isak has found form and Wilson is solid. Ming’s and Konsa will probably have their toughest game in the run in against these scum bags.

Traoré has scored against the scum before so I think he’ll do it again. Ollie has a decent record against them so we need to defend well.

Once he starts scoring in 2’s he’ll soon hit 20 a season. The development is fantastic and he’s showing what is possible with Don Unai as your coach.
