  1. When we were churning through managers we could have done worse than go for Roy Hodgson. Wish him well in whatever he decides to do next.

  3. With the exception of Brighton those other games we had enough chances to win twice over. 13 extra points. The players need to become more clinical in games and kill them off. Story of our season has been missing too many 'easy' chances.
  4. Do step into my office. Exhibit A is Jonathan Bamba, Exhibit B is Jonathan Ikone, whilst we're in France it'd be rude not to take a couple of DM's from Nice (Kepheren Thuram) And Marseille (Baboucar Kamara). Noticed Carlos Bacca has been banging them in this season.
  5. We're we are in the league because we deserve to be here. I don't think we're in a false position. On our day we can compete we have enough danger men to win lots of matches. Next season I just want the FA Cup. Go all out for it whilst solidly finishing 9-12th again. Depends on the signings if we can get higher than 9th which will be very difficult.
  6. Or they have to do his job too which is detrimental to their own performances?
  7. I think Bale is top. Yes our AEG is rocking it with an £85m player this season.
  8. The ref is a bellend. Ollie was constantly fouled , having his shirt pulled In fact Cahill climbed all over him immediately before their second goal. Deserved a goal or two on performance alone. He's been a huge part of why we've scored 50 goals this season. Is that the first time we've scored 50 in the premier League for a while?
  9. Baboucar Kamara and or Khephren Thuram dominant CDM/ CM types young hungry got excellent engines on them. Teams will struggle to get the ball back. And they get stuck in. P.S and they're tall for the those who like that boat being floated.
  10. Movement, passing, vision, anticipating danger, passing the ball and then moving to receive another pass (watch McGinn he rarely does this if ever) , he's very good at intercepting the ball too. He actually can play for the full 90 minutes ,McGinn usually blows out after 30/35 (watch today's game again). I like McGinn he's a great guy good banter but he is definitely not the best midfielder at the club - Douglas Luiz is. As I said he's a first 11 Brazilian player and McGinn plays for Scotland. Only attributes I'd take of McGinn over Luiz are his tenacity and shooting. However because he lacks the stamina to produce or pace himself for 90 minutes his tenacity is wasted as he can't use this beyond a half. Nothing personal Im just commenting on his footballing ability. Even Allan ghosted behind him and left him for dead the other day. Allan! I'm bloody quicker than Allan and I'm 15 stone full of Donner kebabs and pizzas.
  11. Luiz also plays a lot of passes through the lines especially into Jack and Ollie.
  12. Best midfielder at the club easily. (Jack's a forward!). One plays for Brazil the other plays for Scotland. Class class player. Get a casemiro type next to him and he'll go up a level.
  13. Massive drop off in the second half like the majority of the team. In recent games from shooting positions he's been playing cute little through balls which has definitely opened the game for us. Today in the second half he went to hit everything at goal mode which I wasn't happy about. He could and probably should have played Ollie in once maybe twice when on the edge of the box. Scored again and was menacing in the first 55 minutes.
  14. Ramsey had 78.9% accuracy from his passes today and McGinn had 69.7%. Luiz had 91.5%.
  15. McGinn needs replacing. He's a liability. Luiz constantly had to cover him and McGinn keeps letting people run off him. Then he's sprinting like crazy to get back which he struggles to do. And because of this minute 49 he's blowing out of his arse and that's the end of that. He's too slow with his passing and dawdles on the ball. And when he's required to play at premier League speeds he lumps it out or passes to the opposition. Luiz is way better with the ball and off the ball.
  16. Totally agree with this. He is a bottom 6 premier League/top half championship player. There's a myth that he is out of form but this is his level. He's too slow for the Premier League. He's not strong enough and gets bumped off the ball easily and his passing has been substandard ever since we've been promoted. Luiz once again was in the 90's for pass completion and McGinn was in the 70's. Maybe it's because I've grown up watching Spanish and Italian football I prefer touch technique above all else. For a supposedly high energy player his stamina is not good. He was empty after 40 minutes or so. Love the guy but one is deluding themselves into thinking he's better than what I have described above.
  17. Yet he has been solid everytime he has played this season. He wouldn't have been so easily bypassed. Plus Luiz would have had another body in their to help him out.
  18. He's awful. Sorry but he was letting men run off him constantly even in the first half. He scored a beauty and was good for about 30 minutes. Luiz is light years ahead.
  19. We should have changed the formation maybe because palace cut out McGinn and Luiz maybe Nakamba could have come on because we were poor in midfield in the second half. Watkins was clearly fouled in the build for their second. Cahill climbed all over him and they scored from it. Mitchell the jammy git shouldered it in. No one played well in the second half. We needed fresh legs as McGinn was huffing and puffing after 50 minutes as usual.
